Jennifer Lopez made an appearance as the surprise performer at this weekend's Gay Pride Pier Dance in NYC.
Jennifer started off her show with a laugh, "I just want to say, just for the record, it is me. It is not an impersonator. Last time I checked it was the real me." Check out this short clip on YouTube uploaded by Latino123.

TMZ.com added about the even, "Rumored recently to be pregnant, it was apparent to those in attendance that her moves on stage would definitely be discouraged by any physician for a woman who is with child. Not to mention the fact that she looked stunning and showed no traces of any baby bump. Mrs. Marc Anthony tore it up for the New York gays and was accompanied by some dancers from her new MTV reality show 'Moves.'"
The show, shot in Los Angeles, gives a glimpse into the real lives of dancers, all chosen by La Lopez herself, struggling to follow their dreams. Jenny From the Block's career took its first great leap to stardom when she was chosen to be a Fly Girl on the long-running hit 'In Living Color.' One thing you may not know, she didn't make the Fly Girl cut initially. It was only after another dancer dropped out that she got the gig.
Lopez hopes 'Moves' will showcase just how tough the life of a dancer can be. The show is set to air as part of MTV's fall lineup.

Jennifer Lopez has laughed off reports she is studying controversial religion Scientology.
Jennifer Lopez is good friends with King of Queens actress Leah Remini, who is a devout Scientologist, as well as fellow celebrity followers of the religion such as Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, John Travolta and Kirstie Alley.
Jennifer Lopez and Leah Remini have been photographed hanging out together a lot recently, fueling speculation that Leah was attempting to convert Jennifer to the L. Ron Hubbard-created religion. Jennifer Lopez's representative says, "No. People can be just friends."
Jennifer Lopez claims to be a Catholic since birth.

Man pleads guilty to stealing Jennifer Lopez-Marc Anthony wedding video |
NEW YORK (AP) - One of two men who allegedly tried to sell Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez's stolen wedding video back to the couple for $1 million pleaded guilty Wednesday to attempted grand larceny.  | | Jennifer Lopez at her Wedding |
Tito Moses, 31, admitted in New York state Supreme Court he tried to obtain a $1-million ransom for the stolen video. He said he and an accomplice negotiated with a man they thought was a Lopez-Anthony representative.
The "representative" was in fact an undercover detective, prosecutors said.
Justice Bonnie Wittner promised Moses 1 1/2 to three years in prison for his guilty plea. She said she will impose the sentence after he is sentenced in a related New Jersey case and the terms will run concurrently.
A video copy of the celebrity couple's June 2004 wedding was in a laptop computer in Anthony's Cadillac Escalade when it was stolen in Linden, N.J., in October 2005. The car was recovered in Newark but the laptop was gone. The pending New Jersey case is related to the car theft.
A felony complaint filed by prosecutors said Moses and his alleged accomplice, Steven Wortman, 49, called Anthony's company and tried to sell the property back to the salsa star.
A New York City detective posing as a Lopez-Anthony associate negotiated with Moses and Wortman and the men demanded $1 million for the laptop, the complaint said.
At one point, the complaint said, the detective rejected the $1-million demand and Wortman threatened to destroy the laptop and its contents, the complaint said.
The detective, negotiating later with Moses, brought the price down to $250,000 and the defendant agreed to meet him at a diner to give him the laptop, the complaint said. Police arrested the two men there.
Wortman has pleaded not guilty to charges of conspiracy, attempted grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property and his case is pending.

Jennifer Lopez wins court case over I'm Glad video |
The woman who inspired the movie FLASHDANCE lost her court battle against JENNIFER LOPEZ yesterday (12JUN06), after alleging the I'M GLAD singer mimicked some of the film's memorable scenes in her video for the song.
The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco, California, held up a lower court's decision that MAUREEN MARDER gave up her rights to the 1993 film when she signed a release form with Paramount Pictures in 1982.
Marder has filed several cases to gain a copyright interest in the film, which has grossed over $150 million (£83 million) worldwide. The three-judge panel also backed the lower court's dismissal of Marder's claims against Lopez and the Sony Corporation.
The ruling stated "there is simply no evidence that her consent was obtained by fraud, deception, misrepresentation, duress or undue influence". Marder was played by JENNIFER BEALS in the hit movie where she portrayed as a construction worker by day and an exotic dancer by night, who aspired to join a prestigious dance school.

J.Lo Attends Puerto Rican Day Parade |
Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony lent Hollywood glamour to the Puerto Rican Day Parade on Sunday — and attracted such a horde of paparazzi that police officers and Guardian Angels kept them roped off from the crowds as they marched.
"The Puerto Rican parade has been a long-standing tradition in my life. It was always an event that I looked forward to every single year," said Anthony, who led the parade with his wife, Lopez, and Mayor Michael Bloomberg.
Salsa music blared from dozens of floats as the parade made its way up Fifth Avenue past a sea of revelers waving the red, white and blue Puerto Rican flag.
Beauty queens wore Barbie doll dresses and foot-high tiaras. Folk dance troupes wore ruffled skirts and flowers behind their ears.
A contingent of high-stepping show horses was followed by two sanitation workers wheeling garbage bins.
In addition to Bloomberg, politicians marching included New Jersey Gov. Jon Corzine, and U.S. Senators Hillary Clinton and Charles Schumer.
The Puerto Rican parade, an annual event in New York since 1958, has grown to be one of the city's largest. Although it was impossible to estimate this year's crowd, hundreds of thousands have attended in recent years.

JLo cancelled European tour to go on tour with Marc Anthony |
Jennifer Lopez has finally given a reason for cancelling her European and Asian tour that was supposed to happen last month. In a recent interview with E! on the red carpet at the Crystal and Lucy Awards (see video in previous post), Jennifer said she cancelled her concerts because she will be accompanying her husband Marc Anthony on his summer tour.
She also confirmed that she is definitely not pregnant (yet).

Jennifer Garner Turned Down 'Dallas' Because of Jennifer Lopez |
 Jennifer Garner reportedly turned down the role of Pamela Ewing in the forthcoming Dallas movie after discovering her husband Ben Affleck's ex-fiancée Jennifer Lopez had signed to star in the remake. Garner started dating her Daredevil co-star in July 2004 - seven months after the actor ended his high-profile engagement with Lopez.
British newspaper the Daily Mail claims Garner was in talks to play Bobby Ewing's wife Pam, but backed out when she realized Lopez would be playing J.R.'s alcoholic wife Sue-Ellen.
A source says, "Jennifer Garner was really keen to be in Dallas, but I think she felt there would be a bit of a strain between them on the set and that could have led to awkward situations. Both are totally professional, but there might have been a certain 'atmosphere' and Jennifer Garner didn't need to go there."
