Jennifer Lopez pregnant rumors |
British tabloid newspaper The Sun is reporting that:
JENNIFER Lopez was said to be “delighted” last night after tests revealed she is expecting her first child.
However, J.Lo told US magazine People just last week that a baby is not on her agenda at this time. "I'm not on a timetable [to have a baby] - though do hope to become a mother someday" she said.
So, for now, we are taking this with a grain of salt as an unsubstantiated rumor.

J.Lo Comes Clean: She Is, in Fact, Married |
NEW YORK - Jennifer Lopez has confirmed that she and Marc Anthony are, indeed, husband and wife.
"Yes, we're married," Lopez tells People magazine, on newsstands Friday. "I mean, come on, everyone knows. It's not a secret."
It was the first public acknowledgment of her union with the salsa singer — an unusually long delay considering the ceremony was last June at her Beverly Hills, Calif., home.
The couple performed a duet, though, at the Feb. 13 Grammy Awards show. Lopez says she was ailing from swollen glands and a sore throat during the performance, which caused her to cancel a London trip to promote the British release of her film "Shall We Dance?"
Though the trip cancellation prompted some speculation of pregnancy, Lopez says she's "not on a timetable" to have a baby — though she hopes to become a mother someday.
Now, the 34-year-old says, she's entered "phase two": a less public, a "little bit suburban" life with Anthony — and a far cry from her "Bennifer" days with former fiance Ben Affleck. But Lopez counts the high-profile romance as a learning experience.
"I take responsibility for the fact that I didn't make adjustments," she says. "Now I'm a little more careful. I travel in a certain way. I leave at a certain time. I learned."
Lopez's new album, "Rebirth," will be released Tuesday.

Lopez MTV Special Sprinkled With Bling |
NEW YORK - Jennifer Lopez didn't let MTV delve as deeply as they do into the lives of "Newlyweds" Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey or the Osbourne family, but she did let the cameras capture her stressing out over her sparkly New York Fashion Week debut — and one itty-bitty tantrum.
"Jennifer Lopez: Beyond the Runway," the hour-long docu-special that airs Thursday night (10 p.m. EST), is mostly drama-free. Unlike the Osbournes' screaming matches or a fit by Simpson, most of the conflict is over bling and color.
Six months before the show, Lopez worries her designers won't come up with enough looks. They do. Four months before the show, the singer-actress worries that she's going to embarrass herself. She doesn't. Two hours before the show, she fears an atmospheric fan won't work. It does.
When reviewing the first "looks" for her new Sweetface clothing line, Lopez nixes a black garment, saying that she doesn't "love the black. It's not a J.Lo color." She then flashes a shiny smile at the designer. No harm done.
Sure, she's mostly sugar in the special, but there's a little bit of spice, too. After peeking at a pair of blah-looking jeans, she tells her crew "don't even show it to me if I can't change it!" She threatens to cancel the runway show more than once. And after a booking miscommunication results in tardiness, Lopez picks up the phone and lets the sass fly.
"Don't let the receptionist handle your responsibilities," barks Lopez — whose new album, "Rebirth," is set for release March 1.
Her husband and Grammy Award show duet partner, Marc Anthony, makes only fleeting, non-speaking appearances. Supermodel Naomi Campbell pops up as well. But as the title states, "Jennifer Lopez: Beyond the Runway" is definitely all about J.Lo.

J. Lo on the run |
She's the Bronx's answer to the Energizer bunny.
Jennifer Lopez has been juggling album sessions, movie projects, video shoots, a fashion line and a new marriage over the past year.
But along the way she also found time for something unprecedented in her storied career: a long vacation.
"Six months of doing nothing, for the first time since high school," Lopez says, savoring the words. It couldn't last, of course
The singer/actress/designer/tabloid perennial has been bouncing from coast to coast, and abroad, promoting various projects. She was in Germany over the weekend after recovering from the flu.
"I've said my life is like a roller-coaster ride, but it's really more like a hamster wheel," Lopez says. "Going and going, doing and doing. What else is new?"

Lopez Experiences Her Personal "Rebirth" |
From USA Today
Since releasing her last album of new material in 2002, Jennifer Lopez has been through one of the most scrutinized breakups and one of the most yakked-about marriages in recent showbiz history.
In case you've spent the past three years holed up in a monastery, the former was with a fellow actor, Ben Affleck, and the latter to a fellow singer, Marc Anthony.
As she prepares to unveil a new CD, Rebirth, on Tuesday, Lopez is loath to discuss either relationship.
"I was more open in the past, but I've learned a few lessons," says the star, 35, whose off-screen drama with Affleck so consumed gossip columnists that they fused the couple into one person: Bennifer.
"Marcifer" doesn't have quite the same ring, but Lopez isn't taking any chances. She hasn't even publicly announced her marriage to Anthony, though she did perform with him this month at the Grammy Awards and doesn't object when a reporter refers to Anthony as her husband.
"I've always said that I wanted to remain the person that my parents raised and not to become this weird, reclusive type," Lopez says. "But it's a different game now. I've had to set some boundaries because of the way that the media has changed in the past few years. You have to protect yourself. That's why I'd rather talk about myself in terms of what I do as an artist."
That, of course, can mean making movies, dancing or designing clothes. But at the moment, Lopez is most keen to discuss Rebirth, which features a guest appearance by her spouse. Anthony also contributed to Lopez's first album, 1999's On the 6, as did her longtime creative partner and co-executive producer on Rebirth, pop-soul savant Cory Rooney.
"A lot of people who worked on the first album worked on this one, so it did feel like a new beginning," Lopez says, explaining the title.
Ever the multitasker, she also is working on a Spanish-language CD she hopes to release this year. Anthony will be more involved in that project, co-producing with Latin tunesmith Estefano.
"It's going to be almost all ballads, really beautiful," Lopez says. "I'm not fluent in Spanish, so I'll throw out a few words to tell them that this is what I want to say. It's interesting working like that with two men, because sometimes they'll come back to me with something, and I'll be like, 'No, a woman would say it like this.' "
Not that Lopez is dismissing her husband's romantic intuition or that of his collaborator: "When they write, it's like poetry."

J.Lo and Benny Medina, Together Again |
February 22, 2005
After two years apart, Jennifer Lopez has reunited with her former manager, Benny Medina. Insiders said Medina will handle Lopez's music career while her business partner, Simon Fields, will continue to work on her movie and clothing deals although some say his time is limited. "[Hubby] Marc [Anthony] acts like her manager now," said a pal. Lopez and Medina split in 2003 during her affair with Ben Affleck, and Lopez even tried to sue Medina for improperly acting as an agent. The suit was later dropped. Lopez's "Rebirth" album is due out next month. Medina and a Lopez rep didn't return calls.

Jennifer Lopez shoots to top spot |
Pop diva Jennifer Lopez scored her first UK number one single for four years when Get Right entered the chart at number one on Sunday.
Elvis Presley's Surrender, which was number one in 1961, failed to top the chart again after being reissued.
It was at number two with US rapper LL Cool J's Hush at three. Last week's number one, Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own by U2, slipped to seven.
In the albums chart, Brit Awards heroes Scissor Sisters returned to number one.
They pushed Keane into second place and hotly-tipped rock band Bloc Party were a new entry at three with debut album Silent Alarm.
Jennifer Lopez's only other chart-topping single in the UK was Love Don't Cost A Thing in January 2001.
Other new entries in this week's top 10 singles rundown came from hip-hop newcomer The Game plus pop acts Angel City and Atomic Kitten.

Jennifer Lopez's Pepsi Commercial Won't Air In USA |
Pepsi is launching a cinema spot featuring Jennifer Lopez, Beyonce and soccer star David Beckham that will only run in markets outside the U.S., the company said.
The noir-ish, two-minute spot is set in Hong Kong and opens inside a dojo, a place where martial arts are studied and practiced, and shows two masked, leather-clad figures practicing their fighting moves. The two peel off their masks revealing that they are the two female singers. Instead of breaking into song, however, they jump onto motorcycles and tear through the streets of Hong Kong on a secret mission.
Entering a darkened club full of underworld figures, a stranger in the corner observes them as they order two Pepsis. As the others in the club try to intimidate the women, they tap their martial arts skills and remain the only ones in the club left standing, except for the stranger who turns out to be Beckham. They acknowledge him and then leave, Pepsis in hand.
Omnicom Group's CLM BBDO in Paris created the spot, which breaks at the end of February.
In a statement, Lopez said, "I have done some action movies before, so I was a little ahead of the game. This one, however, was very hard because I had to learn the moves on the spot. That said, it was great as we got to kick some butt!" In a statement, Beyonce said the spot "looks great," while Beckham proclaimed the experience of working with the two women "incredible."
Salman Amin, CMO of PepsiCo International, said in a statement, "We at Pepsi have always committed ourselves to bringing consumers the best that there is to offer from the worlds of [soccer] and music. This time we have brought the two worlds together in a combination that we believed would create a fantastic piece of activity. We believe we have been proven right and now consumers will have the opportunity to see it for themselves."

LOPEZ AND ANTHONY TO TOUR?
Jennifer Lopez is reportedly planning to give fans around the world a taste of her live performances with husband MARC ANTHONY - by going on tour with the salsa singer.
Lopez and Anthony, who exchanged nuptials last June (04), performed together for the first time on Sunday (13FEB05), when they sang a Spanish-language duet, and now sources say they plan to hit the road together.
Curvaceous beauty Lopez is already set to accompany her husband on a brief tour of Spain at the end of the month (FEB05), and now Anthony is reportedly trying to persuade her to join him on a more extensive tour later in the year (05).
A source tells magazine US WEEKLY, "He wants to do it, but she has been trying to see if it is the right thing.
"Jen's people have advised her not to because it's bad for her career. She's too mainstream to tour with him. He needs her, but she doesn't need him."

J.LO TAKES HER LIFE SERIOUSLY
JENNIFER LOPEZ dismisses the way she is portrayed in the media as a spoilt superstar, because she has a lot of sadness in her heart and takes every aspect of her life very seriously.
THE WEDDING PLANNER beauty refuses to be defined by her love of expensive clothes, jewellery and luxury cars - her public image disguises the real person underneath.
The 35-year-old says, "I have some sadness. I know that everybody thinks my life is great and all I do is ride around in BENTLEYS and wear a lot of jewellery, but it's not really like that.
"I am a hardworking girl and I take everything in my life very seriously, professionally and personally

Grammy Awards Get Lowest Rating Since '95 |
NEW YORK (AP) - From J.Lo to James Brown, Usher to U2, the Grammys had it all this year - except a lot of interested viewers. An estimated 18.8 million people watched Ray Charles' swan song clean up with eight awards Sunday night, a startling 28 percent drop from the 2004 Grammys.
After two years on an upswing, Grammy ratings sunk to their lowest level since 1995, according to Nielsen Media Research. It may be an ominous sign for the granddaddy of awards shows, the Academy Awards, Feb. 27 on ABC.
People at CBS and elsewhere in the industry were somewhat perplexed by the numbers on Monday, given that the show was jam-packed with performances and star power.
``This was the show to beat in terms of how it was produced,'' said Shari Anne Brill, a television analyst for Carat USA. ``It was just great. It wasn't about someone handing out awards. It was about performances. Viewers who didn't tune in missed a treat.''
The Grammys, which has a long history of being derided as the Grannies within the music industry, even drew an endorsement from one of pop's potentates. ``I think this is the best Grammys we've ever seen,'' U2 lead singer Bono said as the group accepted an award toward the show's end.
It was a continuation of a recent Grammy trend of minimizing awards presentations and maximizing live performances.
While there were misfires - the cacophonous opening number where several acts briefly played different songs all at once - there were plenty of thrills. Alicia Keys' smoldering ``If I Ain't Got You,'' Kanye West's resurrection, the duet between Usher and Brown and songs by Green Day and U2 all come to mind.
CBS spokesman Chris Ender noted last year's show benefited from Janet Jackson's Super Bowl fallout. Controversy sells.
Brill agreed: ``Don't you think if Michael Jackson did a duet with someone with his trial going on, more viewers would have come?''
ABC is also much more competitive. ``Desperate Housewives'' had more viewers than the Grammys in the same time slot on Sunday, Nielsen said. But there was little evidence that many people switched over to the Grammys when ``Desperate Housewives'' was done.
Charles' big win could have been a hindrance, too. While a music legend, his best work may have been a mystery to many young viewers. Since he died last June, viewers were denied heartwarming scenes of him basking in the glory.
It continues a trend of less-than-stellar ratings for awards shows.
The Emmys last fall had its smallest audience ever. The Golden Globes last month had its fewest viewers since returning to broadcast television in 1996, down a whopping 10 million people from 2004. The 12.9 million people who watched the American Music Awards in November was a distant echo of the 48 million who tuned in two decades ago.
``I'm wondering if there are so many awards shows that they have lost some of their specialness,'' Brill said.
The Academy Awards, frequently the year's second-highest-rated entertainment event after the Super Bowl, usually considers itself immune from such outside factors. But big-box office films tend to juice the ratings - the Oscars haven't approached the 55 million who watched when ``Titanic'' won in 1998 - and this year has no dominant film.
Host Chris Rock may draw in the curious, particularly with his unique brand of promotion. The Internet's Drudge Report on Monday was circulating excerpts from a recent Entertainment Weekly interview where Rock said, ``What straight black man sits there and watches the Oscars? Show me one!''
ABC has been more aggressive promoting an event that usually sells itself.

Jennifer Cancels European Tour and London Trip Due to Illness |
LONDON - Days after performing a duet with husband Marc Anthony at the Grammy Awards show, Jennifer Lopez canceled a European trip, due to illness.
Lopez had been scheduled to attend the British charity premiere of her movie "Shall We Dance?" with co-star Richard Gere on Wednesday. She called off the trip at the last minute, saying she was too ill to travel.
"I very much wanted to be in London today but unfortunately I'm not well," she said in a statement released by Buena Vista International, the movie's distributor. "At the advice of my doctors I'm unable to travel. ... Please accept my sincerest apologies as I have to remain in Los Angeles."
The statement, which said the illness had caused Lopez "to cancel my European album tour," didn't specify what was wrong.
Her publicist, Leslie Sloane Zelnick, told The Associated Press in New York that Lopez had been scheduled to appear on several TV shows while in Europe.
Lopez performed a duet with Anthony at the Grammys show in Los Angeles Sunday night, and had previewed her new fashion collection at New York Fashion Week on Friday night.
Her new album, "Rebirth," is scheduled for release March 1.

GERE: 'J.LO KEPT HEARTBREAK AT HOME' |
RICHARD GERE offered JENNIFER LOPEZ a shoulder to cry on during the filming of SHALL WE DANCE? - but she refused to allow her split from fiance BEN AFFLECK to affect her professional life.
PRETTY WOMAN heart-throb Gere often gave his sexy co-star a hug to ease her tension but he respected the fact she didn't want to talk about her faltering love life.
Gere says, "She was very professional. I mean, you could see clearly that this young woman was going through a lot of stuff, but she never brought it onto the set or made an issue of it in any way, although I know it was difficult for her.
"I remember there were days when I would just go to her and give her a hug, and you could feel the tension start to let go. But I never talked to her about it because she didn't want to."

J.LO: 'I'M NO GALLIANO' - From Contact Music |
JENNIFER LOPEZ is immensely proud of her new clothing line SWEETFACE's debut at New York Fashion Week on Friday (11FEB05), despite being the first to admits she's "no JOHN GALLIANO".
J.Lo's second collection, a more formal, classic alternative to her high-street label J.LO BY JENNIFER LOPEZ, hit the headlines over the weekend (12-13FEB05) after animal activists were disgusted by the amount of fur in her designs.
And while the line was deemed a success, Lopez admits she's has further to go before her creations can rival style gurus such as DIOR designer Galliano.
Lopez says, "Let's be real. I'm obviously not at the level of a John Galliano. There is an art to what he does that I admire. But I do have a certain style and a certain image that people respond to.
"It's not going to be mass. It's about making a smaller line, with better quality and better fabrics."

Jennifer Lopez Makes Glitzy NY Runway Debut |
NEW YORK (Reuters) - Pop diva, actress and budding fashion designer Jennifer Lopez made her New York runway debut on Friday with an eclectic collection that showed she may be able to bring her star power to the world of haute couture.
The show, which was nothing short of theatrical, featured models in denim shorts and pants, cashmere sweaters, flowered babydoll tops, satin, crystals and lots and lots of fur.
Supermodel Naomi Campbell strutted down the catwalk in halter-topped jumpsuit with tiered ruffles running down the legs and an enormously wide-brimmed mushroom-like white hat.
"I was very pleasantly surprised," Jane Larkworthy, an editor at W magazine, said of Lopez's new "Sweetface" line. "I love satin pants and I love fur."
The show was divided into three parts meant to correspond to phases of Lopez's life: her start in the Bronx, her music career and her current red-carpet lifestyle.
In the background, yellow neon lights spelled out "JLo Story" during the first phase, then turned into two red turntables for the second, and then into a stretch limo and a velvet rope for the third.
During the finale, music from her upcoming album, "Rebirth," boomed in the background.
The hotly anticipated and celebrity-studded event capped off New York's twice-yearly Fashion Week extravaganza, which featured the work of more than 60 designers including Kenneth Cole, Oscar de la Renta and Ralph Lauren.
'A J.C. PENNEY RACK'
Actress Bernadette Peters, rapper Lil' Kim, music industry heavyweight Russell Simmons and model Tyson Beckford were in attendance.
The early pieces in the collection, which included casual items like jeans, belly-baring tops, striped scarves and zippered sweatshirts, did not seem to go over so well.
"As I saw those items, all I saw was a J.C. Penney rack," said Zandile Blay, an editor at Seventeen magazine.
Later in the show, Lopez offered more glamorous looks including crystal-studded skullcaps, a silk chiffon jumpsuit and a hooded floor-length fur cape in white.
"It's a step up from her teen-age, pop line. It's definitely more mature, and it's more of a replica of what Jennifer does," said Metanoya Webb, an assistant editor at InStyle Magazine. "It was a reflection of her, and I liked that."
Lopez may have some work to do before she earns her fashion business credentials. A number of die-hard fashionistas watching the event on television monitors outside of the venue booed her when she made an appearance at end of the show.
Lopez told Women's Wear Daily that her designer collection will have higher prices and a more limited distribution than her existing J.Lo line of clothing and fragrances, which had its debut in 2001. Last fall, she launched the JLO by Jennifer Lopez lingerie line.
"Better than the clothes was really the presentation of the whole show," Blay said. "She didn't break any new ground, but she certainly confirmed her star status."

Jennifer Lopez Gets Back on Musical Track |
NEW YORK (Billboard) - Jennifer Lopez titled her 2002 album "This Is Me ... Then." Well, make no mistake, this is her ... now.
I took some time off last year, which was hard for me to do, as that's not really in my genes -- it's not part of my makeup," Lopez told Billboard. "There were times when my life was like a roller-coaster ride, but as an artist, you need time for clarity."
So Lopez did what she felt she needed to do. She took a good hard look at her life and career and decided that she had to rediscover "the same person I was before 'On the 6."'
Lopez is, of course, referring to her multimillion-selling 1999 debut album. "I had to put things in perspective," she adds. "It was time to rejuvenate."
BORN AGAIN
Welcome to the next phase in Lopez's career, which encompasses music, film, perfume and fashion. Her new Epic album, the aptly titled "Rebirth," arrives March 1.
It will be available in two configurations: single CD and DualDisc. The video portion of the DualDisc includes a making-of-the-album documentary lensed by D.A. Pennebaker.
Internationally, "Rebirth" comes out a day earlier, while in Japan it goes on sale Feb. 23. In these markets, the DualDisc will be replaced by a CD/DVD set.
Lopez says she could not have named the new album -- her fourth studio set -- anything else. "For me, the title is incredibly significant," she says.
"All you have to give, as an artist, are your experiences, your life," Lopez continues. "That's where it should come through -- not through a silly tabloid. Sure, the media got out of hand these past couple of years. I'm an artist -- that's what put me in the media in the first place. But I can't be a crazy, little girl anymore. It's time to put the spotlight back on my career."
"Rebirth" is poised to do just that. Working with several songwriters and producers -- including Rodney Jerkins, Rich Harrison, Fat Joe, Tim & Bob and her husband, Marc Anthony -- Lopez delivers a collection steeped in pop, hip-hop, Latin, funk and dance.
"I've grown a lot since my first album," she says. "Vocally, I've become more confident. I record songs with a different attack -- with a different vigor."
Also included are two songs co-penned by the singer: the funky "Cherry Pie" and the power ballad "(Can't Believe) This Is Me."
SPANISH CD IN WORKS
The latter track -- originally written in Spanish (sung in English here) -- will be featured on Lopez's first Spanish-language album, which she is working on with Anthony. Epic will release it in the fourth quarter.
The artist's enthusiasm for the current album has had a positive effect. The lead single, "Get Right," and its accompanying video are off to a strong start on radio and video channels, on the Internet and in the ringtones market.
This week it holds at No. 15 on the Pop 100 chart and at No. 13 on the Billboard Hot 100. It ascends to No. 17 on the Rhythmic Top 40 chart.
In Canada and France, "Get Right" debuted in the top 25 and top 40, respectively; it is the sixth most-played track on radio in Japan. In the United Kingdom, the track has been added to Radio One.
The video has been the most-streamed video at numerous Web sites, including Yahoo, MSN, VH1, Rolling Stone and MTV.
MTV will soon begin streaming the entire album, while Lopez will preview the set Feb. 28 at a "virtual in-store" on MSN.
Lopez and Anthony are scheduled to perform together Sunday (Feb. 13) at the 47th annual Grammy Awards, marking their first such appearance since their marriage.

Miami Glow Inspires New Drink |
STRAWBERRY VICE
Jennifer Lopez can add another slash to her credits as movie star, pop tart and designer: muse. The makers of Rémy-Martin cognac found Lopez's new fragrance, Miami Glow, so intoxicating they based a cocktail on some of its fruitier notes. The Strawberry Vice -- made with Rémy-Martin VSOP (Very Special Old Pale, which refers to blends not less than 4 years old) -- debuted in a chi-chi afterparty for J.Lo's new ready-to-wear collection in New York this week.
''It's sweet, tropical, sexy, breezy -- like Miami,'' says Lisette Sand-Freedman, Rémy spokeswoman. Here's how to make it off the runways:
• Muddle 1 ½ ounces Rémy-Martin VSOP, ½ ounce vanilla and 2 hulled and halved strawberries in a mixing glass. Shake over ice, strain into a flute and top with champagne. Garnish with strawberry, fresh berries or a flower.
Rémy-Martin is about $30 a 750-milliliter bottle at major liquor stores; remy.com.

Jennifer Preparing for Fashion Week |
'So, what do you think about the ideas for the fall line?" a nervous Andy Hilfiger asks of Jennifer Lopez.
"Uh, I created the ideas for the fall line," La Lopez replies with deadpan authority.
This exchange - and it all gets considerably more nerve-racking - appears in MTV's Feb. 24 special, "Jennifer Lopez: Beyond the Runway." This hour-long peekaboo goes behind the scenes as Lopez oversees her new clothing line. MTV sent over a "highlight reel" that begins with Jennifer girlishly explaining her goals, then going on to judge some of the clothes ("make this top longer ... but keep the band here ... and these pants are hot"). And, finally, a fairly tense meeting with partners. Lopez, her midriff entirely bare and in pants that fall distractingly below the navel - right to the bikini line - doesn't look like your average mogul, but she is all business and knows what she wants. Not bossy, just "to the point."
Tomorrow, in what is expected to be the big event of Fashion Week, Lopez and Hilfiger unveil the Sweetface collection at The Tent in Bryant Park. Movie stars; fashionistas; pop, rock and soul icons; and celebs without brains will battle for front seats.
The invite says, "Only the fly need reply."

SCISSOR SISTERS PRAISE JLO'S POSITIVE BODY IMAGE |
SCISSORS SISTERS frontwoman ANA MATRONIC has hailed fellow chart stars JENNIFER LOPEZ and BEYONCE KNOWLES for their curvaceous figures.
The voluptuous MARY singer, 31, is happy with her fuller figure and is horrified by some of Hollywood's leading ladies' dress sizes.
Matronic enthuses, "I love the fact in Britain no one cares that I'm not a size eight (US size four). It's just never an issue, which is how it should be.
"I think artists such as Jennifer Lopez and Beyonce have done great things for normal-shaped girls. Neither of them are really thin, but they are both beautiful women."

Jeweler "reacquires" engagement ring Ben Affleck gave to Jennifer Lopez |
LOS ANGELES _ The syndicated T-V news magazine show "The Insider" is reporting that New York jeweler Harry Winston has "reacquired" the engagement ring that Ben Affleck gave to Jennifer Lopez.
The sale price for the six-carat pink diamond ring wasn't disclosed and there were no other details. But "The Insider" said Affleck reportedly spent more than $1 million for the ring.
The couple called off their high-profile wedding in September 2003 and broke off their engagement a few months later. Lopez has since married singer Marc Anthony.
