J. Lo's New Single Isn't Her New Single
'(Out) On the Floor' is actually a years-old outtake.

Jennifer Lopez is back on the radio — with an old song masquerading as a new single. "(Out) On the Floor" has been making the rounds on the Internet as well as the airwaves, with fans speculating that it's the first taste from the singer's forthcoming album due this fall. The singer's label rep, however, says that the tune is not an official release and won't be on the new record.

The dance song — with a beat sampled from Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam's 1984 breakthrough hit "I Wonder If I Take You Home" — is more poppy than much of J. Lo's recent work, and describes the mind-clearing benefits of getting lost on the dance floor in a good beat. Lyrics include, "I step into another world/ As soon as I start to dance/ Out on the floor/ It's always been the only place/ When I look to escape/ Baby, you can do the same/ Let your troubles go."

"(Out) On the Floor" started getting spins last week on R&B and hip-hop stations, including KQBT in Austin, Texas, KXJM in Portland, Oregon, WGBT in Greensboro, North Carolina, WWKC in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, WKHT in Knoxville, Tennessee, and KPRR in El Paso, Texas. "This was something that was leaked last week," said Jason Kidd, program director at KQBT, which reported playing the song 51 times between June 17 and 23. "Only a few stations in the country have it. I was told that we had it before the label."

Lopez's label rep, Epic Records publicist Michele Schweitzer, said that that track was left over from an old session "three albums ago" (evidently J. Lo's 1999 debut, On the 6; the song's lyrics mention the 6-train), and was never intended for release. "It's not a new song, it's not going on the new album, it's nothing," Schweitzer said. "It's a rough mix. It's not even mastered."

As soon as Epic realized that the song was in rotation, Schweitzer said, the label asked radio stations to pull the song from their playlists. But not every station got such a call, and it remains on the air in some places. "They have not said anything to me," Kidd said. "I am still [playing it occasionally] here and there."

There's no release date yet for Lopez's next album, which she continues to work on in Los Angeles while shooting her next movie, "Monster-In-Law".

I don't know about anyone else, but I thought this was a weak single to introduce a new album anyway. At least one good thing came from this - we have an album confirmation! Even radio stations that JLo.net contacted reported this as a new single! This also explains why not many radio stations were picking up the song - which I thought was fishy. It was nice hearing something new though for a fanbase that's starved for new material :)

Jennifer Lopez was set to start shooting the film "American Darlings" this upcoming September, however it has now been delayed due to having no script yet. This news arrives in time to fuel rumors of Lopez's pregnacy even more - to which reports of are still being denied.

Sources close to Lopez have said so and she has apparently refused to attend the premiere for "Shall We Dance?" - which if true, would certainly not place her in a good light. Richard Gere, also in the movie, was shocked by her unenthusiasm toward the project.

"It was no secret that Jennifer and Richard didn't get on but they found a professional balance to get them through. But Richard isn't impressed that she's ruled herself out of the premiere and doesn't think it's the right impression to give the public or media. Her people aren't worried as she has so many strings to her bow - but sense she wants to move away from films after her run of flops. She could find solace in music."

In other news, Lopez is still not confirming her marriage to Marc Anthony. Reports of her hiring Marc's manager, the infamous Tommy Mottola, are being denied - perhaps not to link her and Marc. I don't know why they are still not confirming the marriage when it's obvious they have gotten married.

Ben Affleck is reportedly very shocked that Lopez had recently gotten married, according to friends. He has not said much about the wedding, but is supposedly devastated.

"At first, Ben was shocked, sort of bowled over, like he'd been run over by a truck. He couldn't believe it - only five months after the split. It's like pouring salt in the wound."

More wedding info: Jennifer and Marc were married by the same man who officiated her second wedding (to Cris Judd) - her lawyer Barry Hirsch. The New York Daily News also reports that the couple got a "confidential wedding license" from the Norwalk County Clerks office in southern California two days before the wedding. For fear of being sighted, they didn't even leave the car to fill out the paperwork. They called into the office and asked an employee to bring out the forms and requested a nearby deputy sheriff to witness them sign the license.

New movie: Jennifer Lopez has purchased the rights to produce a biopic about Puerto Rican jazz legend Hector Lavoe to played by new husband Marc Anthony. J. Lo reportedly planned to star in the movie opposite Marc, but decided her talents could be better utilized behind the camera.

Jennifer Lopez, as PAGE SIX reported this week, was supposed to be in Moscow to open the JLo store there. But Lopez had also agreed, as a UNESCO ambassador, to hold a fund-raiser with Vladimir Putin for the orphans. Instead, the possibly pregnant pop star stayed in Beverly Hills and married Marc Anthony.

Lopez's no-show — and her manager Simon Fields' denial that she was ever going to show up in the first place — has left the Russians fuming.

Melanie A. Bonvicino, a spokesperson for the Russian JLo licensee, Toroil S.A., raged: "Contrary to Simon Fields' statements on Tuesday, there definitely exists a valid and binding agreement with my clients, Toroil, S.A., which has been signed by both Ms. Lopez and Mr. Fields."

Fields denied any contract with Toroil S.A. existed and said Lopez couldn't go to Russia because she was filming "Monster-in-Law."

Think it's strange how Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez refuse to even acknowledge their nuptials? Telemundo may have the answer. Rumors are circulating that the couple have made plans to give the Spanish-language television network Telemundo an exclusive on their wedding. This isn't far-fetched as Jennifer recently became a production partner for the network stating, "I wanted to get involved in making shows for Telemundo because I am committed to creating quality shows for our culture."

Representatives of Jennifer Lopez at Dan Klores have reportedly left Ms. Lopez due to her demanding and sneaky behavior. On the Lopez side, however, she supposedly fired them.

"It was Klores' people who wanted out. They took on J.Lo at a reduced fee, but representing her turned out to be a job and a half. Let's put it this way, J.Lo is not exactly low maintenance. Then, they were totally blind-sided by this wedding. They had flatly denied the story to journalists who they've worked with and they weren't happy about being made to look like liars."

Rumors are going around saying Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony's marriage might not have been legal. After Marc Anthony's divorce, there may have been a 60-day buffer period allowing either members to appeal. This could then invalidate Jennifer and Marc's wedding and the couple is said to be worried about this.

After "Monster-In-Law" wraps up, Jennifer apparently has no plans according to her business manager Simon Fields. This strikes people as odd considering Jennifer has always managed to keep herself busy with something and just adds to the speculation that Lopez is pregnant. Fields goes on say that they are currently looking at some scripts, but nothing has been planned.

Perhaps she can begin, if she hasn't already, work on a new album. I don't think I'll be looking forward to this Marc Anthony duet for the "Shall We Dance" soundtrack - most likely a ballad. As a reminder, here's an upcoming list of the movies she is in and their status:

Marc Anthony made a public appearance this morning on NBC's Today Show. Of course they attempted to ask him about the wedding and Jennifer Lopez, but he refused to comment on any of it and said he didn't want to reveal any personal information. I found this bit amusing:

P. Diddy: "If she's in love with somebody and that makes her happy, I'm happy for her," Combs told Access Hollywood in an interview that will air tonight. "That's my girl for life."

Cris Judd was surprised to learn she had gotten married. "She did? You know what? I wish her and Marc the best and hey, if it's true to her heart then by all means." He then went on to give them a message: "Jen, Marc, I wish you the best, and happiness, definitely."

And according to Us Weekly, Ben gave them two thumbs up. That's all? Maybe he's still a bit bitter :)

That's a picture of the wedding - obviously not a lot of guests. As a matter of fact, people were being told to come to a "beautiful afternoon party" at Jennifer Lopez's million dollar LA home in her garden - not a wedding at all! Lopez flew in from New York to attend.

Just after 6PM, they had a string quartet at the wedding playing Vivaldi's "Four Seasons" as Lopez's dad walked her down the aisle (Lopez in the above picture). Jennifer was wearing an ivory laced dress and about $200,000 of Neil Lane jewelry. Ricky Martin (?) was even there and sang as a musical guest!

To add to the shock, there are rumors she may be pregnant.

"We had no idea that this was planned until we got a call to be at her home on Saturday. There are rumours that she may be pregnant. She is certainly glowing and looked ecstatically happy."

Yup. Days after it was reported Marc Anthony's divorce was official and 5 months after the Ben Affleck breakup, Jennifer has done it again! Jennifer Lopez has married Marc Anthony! Us Weekly says she got married in Los Angeles yesterday, June 5th, in front of 40 guests.

"It was a lovely low-key intimate affair for the closest friends and family, " Us Weekly reported a friend as saying.

"She didn't hardly tell anyone. Everyone was surprised."

At the British premiere of "Jersey Girl," all of the main stars failed to make an appearance. Affleck is supposedly sick and Lopez has a small part in the film and probably would not have wanted to be seen with Affleck anyway.

In other news, Marc Anthony is now divorced from his previous Miss Universe wife Dayanara Torres. So who knows what's in store for Jennifer Lopez now....

On June 1st, the world's first J.Lo brand store opened in Moscow, Russia of all places! Strikes me as odd about the location, but whatever. In addition to that, she's planning to release a new fragrance next year named "Miami Glow."

She skipped out on her Lingerie launch party for some reason. P. Diddy's former butler, though, sure is getting around these days.
