Question what are the right dimensions for printing CD artwork?
hey guys, i have a prob. i made a CD cover, but it's too damn big, and i wanna know what are the correct dimensions (in pixels) for printing out front (specifically ones that have two sides that fold) and back covers for CDs. thanx.

btw, none of my music programs have a jewel case-printing feature.

ermm not working. ok i'll give u the dimensions of this artwork i made:

2858 x 1429 pixels (front)
1783 x 1404 pixels (back)

they're really huge.

i guess it should be 500px by 500px.


I have that Jewel Cd case maker and all that stuff but i dont know how the hell i should share it or whatever.lol

4.76in is 343px and 5.95in is 428px and 4.65in is 335px

I've printed lots of CD covers before... if you're going to make a print out of your artwork, make sure that your resolution is high. I recommend 300 pixels/inch.

This is the perfect square size for CD covers -

12cm by 12 cm (1417 pixels / 4.723 inches) ; Resolution: 300 pixels/inch

If you're not going to make a print out of your graphic, stick to 72 pixels/inch (it will be smaller in size).
