This has really been bugging me and I just have to let it out .
I frequent this forum because I really like all the users around here .
I joined it back in may so I would say I'm still a Newbie Compared to alot of you ...

Anyways
I don't mean this to come off the wrong way, or sound negative or anything but I'm starting to really get the idea that there are no mods that frequent these boards, some of the users comments are getting out of hand, and the general organization of this forum is really lacking some work.

seriously, if you all want to make this forum the best it can be for the right reasons then we should try to change it up a little bit ...
It's just a suggestion.

Example A :

Music Discussion (6 Viewing) All off-topic music discussion (not Jennifer Lopez). Popular artists may have single threads dedicated to them.	Hey! got a good verson of... by MisfitLove Yesterday 07:53 PM	618	15,638

	Media Center Requests and fills for all other media belongs in this forum (no JLo here!). You must have a minimum amount of posts to get access.

Can someone explain to me why we need a Media Center, then an "all Entertainment" thread, then a pictures and images thread ***(which everyone uses for media blitz anyways) ***
AAnd to top it off we need a "music discussion" thread?!

Why can't we simply have 1 Off-forum discussion to Generalize MEDIA in general and stem from that?!

It's getting really annoying because I keep seeing double, triple posts of the same topics over and over and it's becoming really loopy and unorthodox when I surf around the boards.

Anyways, I just had to let that out there. . .
Let me know what you guys think.

ps . this in no way has anything to do with the Jennifer Lopez topics, those are all fine and dandy

This place has gone to shit. Thats no secret.

I tried to spice of the picture thread and got my thread deleted because it was deemed "innaproproriate" and when i asked how and why the response was "read the rules" yet no specific rule was outlined. In other words.....Kevin's lights are on but theres clearly no one home

I dont mind anything on dis forum.. MUSIC DISCUSSION is only for other music artists like CIARA, CHRISTINA, EVE, USHER, etc etc etc....

ALL ENTERTAINMENT stuff is basically for VIDEO GAMES, DVD movies u saw and like. Computer games etc.....

and MEDIA SECTIOn is just non JLO music/videos to download from other artists.

I dont see why your complaining?

if you put an OFF TOPIC dicussion with everything inculded it will be chaotic and just plain out crazy i rather have stuff categorized and plain simple.

But i think thats me being misunderstanding. LOL... The modz who come in these boards? I have no idea. Dont really care LOL.. i dont visit those boards anyway I am just into JLO related forums.

maybe there should be a R-rated forum? LOL!! just playing! keep it g-rated. all kids and adults from all ages are welcomed to be in a safe-clean free forum. maybe even have a program where it can ***** bad werds? thats a suggestion...

It's confusing for all the newbies, easy for ppl who have been around. Here's how it goes

All media (audio and video) files go in the media centers - one dedicated to Jennifer Lopez and the other for all non-J.Lo media or Off-topic Media. Members need a certain amount of posts to view both these media centers. All the other forums are meant for discussions and members can post in those forums without requiring any post-count.

The "All Things Entertainment" forum is where you discuss movies, TV shows, video games & other computer related stuff. "Music Discussion" is strictly for discussing artists, other than Jennifer Lopez, and their albums, videos, etc. "Pictures & Images" is where you will find all pics - celebrities, random funny, scary & wierd stuff and finally, The "General Chat" forum is where you can discuss anything that doesn't fit into any of the other forums, new member introduction topics, birthday wishes, etc. and it has a sub-forum called "Fun And Games" where you will find all those 'what are you listening to now' and other silly games.

In fact, if you look closely, most Threads have an average of 60+ views
and right next to that number, you will see a number 3 sometimes 2 or 5 replies
It's rude.

The only time the threads make it to the 1,2,3, pages is when people contribute or post an image/etc.

What'ever happened to the discussions?

I understand what your saying cuz this problem has been affecting the forum for a while now. One newbie (who obviously doesn't know the rules here) made an introduction topic in the J.Lo section... a couple of the mods had the time to say "Welcome" but didn't have the time to move that topic into "General Chat". There have been numerous fights where ppl keep insulting each other, nothing is done about it, topics are all in the wrong sections, nothing is done about it, but when someone insults a mod, the posts are deleted immediately, the member gets an infraction and the topic gets locked instantly!

The admins have lost interest in their forum and have not set any targets for their mods... with no limitations, benefits and no-one to ask them why they aren't doing what they are supposed to do, the mods slack off and have also become disinterested and extremely lazy.

I have been here for 2 years now and i've seen this forum going from very active, full of new posts and top notch to "what do i get if i contribute here?" and "who gives a shit anymore?" and it bothers me cuz this forum is special, at least to me it is, and i'd like to see some big changes here - more activity, interest and that's only possible if our forum leaders do their part.

i thought a nice suggestion would be if that StrippedB n LaLoPeZgIrL (and possibily eyelrazehell, only if she wants to...) were given kinda additional access as in they can move threads to appropriate places, delete threads, n stuff like that. cos they seem to be the most active forum members on this great forum
