I don't think it's too soon. I already thought of a movie about it 6 months after it happen.

My serious opinion about this:

I feel that 9/11 had something to do with the US Government, a film is being made and u know they will benefit from this financially in some sort of way, i think if the proceeds of this film in takings should go to a fund that helps reconstruction of the towers or AID to the people last members of the family, no doubt it would be interesting to watch but the Americans seem to Glorify everything terrible that happens in the US.

I don't think it's glorifying it. Much like Passion of the Christ didn't glorify Jesus's death. It just let us live the experiance for ourself for 2 hours.
