omy she really looks like beyonce!!!!! :conf: i didn't realize it was mariah! she looks good, although you can bearly see her face from all the dark shadows.
why would she wanna copy a photo thats already been done? :confused: i think she should have come up with something a bit more original for the front cover of her "comeback". i think she wanted something really simmilar to the photos inside beyonces album sleave.they are very alike!!!!! ;) ;)

freeing someone from the control of another; especially a parent's relinquishing authority and control over a minor child

I wonder who Mariah thinks was controlling her? The media maybe, it certainly wasn't her parents.

I'm part of her official Fan Club... on her web site she says "It's a reflection of this being a celebratory moment in my life."

It's just like asking why Jennifer called her new album Rebirth... "rebirth" mostly is used in a Christian term.... Artists use meaningful words for them and maybe it doesn't make sense to us.

Critics are already giving great reviews about this album. I can't wait!!

Most of the time... everyone is airbrushed... the latest issue of In Touch show a bunch of celebs w/cellulite that you wouldn't think had it... When they take photos... they fix the probs they don't want anyone to see... I'm sure she was airbrushed... she still looks beautiful.

Be sure to look at the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly because they have a little article where they bring up the fact that Mariah looks just like Beyonce on her CD cover. I'll post it on this thread later tonight if I have time.

I like Jennifer Lopez much more than Mariah. They are both totally different types of singers, so why do you speak about Mariah Carey? I don't like her, she is too much proud. You can't compare her to Jennifer.

This is an off topic and we can.

We all have a choice... some like JLO more and some like Mariah more... I would say both ladies are strong proud and bold... both have come very far and have any rights to brag all the hell they want.

I like both Jlo and Mariah! And I agree that TEOM is a good album. Not her best but good! However, I do NOT agree that this is the Return of The Voice! It's the same as CB, if not a bit more strained.Some songs are good and others are fillers. I saw GMA and must say it started off not so good with ILT! She was out of tune throughout a lot of the song and very scratchy towards the end. Although, as she warmed up she did sing FLAB better(forgeting that some was backing tape). Listening to her old songs with her "old" voice, this is certainly not the return!

She was not off at all. She hit every note without a doubt. She was not scratchy at all. I don't think we watched the same performance. She is an impecable performer.

She strained herself though the end of ILT :eek: , It looked and sounded like she was gonna shit herself! I like Mariah but i am not gonna lie if it sounds horrible. I will say she USED to be an amazing performer but now ,not so much!

i saw her two performance, teh one with john legend and its likethat. i ddint realli like its like that much, but after seeing a wholelive performance ,iwth a live band, FATMAN SCOOP and jermaine dupri, i was loving it.
personally i like live performance, cos the music tend to go a little funkier and upbeat!:)

Are you relating to. Unlike ppl who lip synch.. she sings live... on the performances we've seen on tv... she's had the track playing in the background... that is all... some ppl can't even sing live for the life of them... they have weak voices and crack all the time. It doesn't matter to me if others felt her performance was weak... I know what I heard. Even my love for JLo won't keep me from hearing when she f***s up a performance when she does sing live.
