Hi there! I’m a reporter doing a story about what people love/hate about Jennifer Lopez. I’m looking for fans to talk to, especially (but not only) if: A) You’re Latino/a; B) You’re in the Washington DC area or C) You’ve ever had a fight with a Jennifer-hating friend, family member, etc.

I don’t know why there are so many Jlo haters! Even some people from PR! I just don’t get it. I get soooooooo pissed when I talk about Jennifer and someone refers to her as Jhoe. That makes my blood boil. My boss does it all the time cause he’ll come in and hear me listening to her cd and he’ll make a Jhoe comment. People are mean sometimes for no reason. One of my closest friends is from PR and she hates Jennifer too. She says that it’s cause she is always with a different man and she makes puerto rican women look like sluts. I tell her that it’s BS cause everyone dates different men even she does BUT jennifer’s life is displayed to the world because she is a celeb and it seems like a big deal. So she’s been married three times, had two public relatinships and divorced twice. Big f*cking deal. I’ve been divorce twice and I’m currently engaged. I’m not a slut. I’ve just made a few mistakes in life. It happens. I’m just trying to get it right;)

same here, my mom doesn’t understand why i love jennifer lopez soooooo much. most of my friends aswell don’t understand, as if i’m crazy, they’re the crazy ones.

I can totally write something about this. My family does not like her and last night they were talking about her running for president. Which I think is totally cool. But my mom made the comment that J.lo had a butt reduction and she would’nt vote for her because of her past and she is a celebrity. That pissed me off! I replied and made the comment the arnold is gov. of california so why cant she be president. My mom said she would vote for Hilary Clinton in 2008 before J.lo.

I love her, I love her job. I think that she’s a big hard worker, and a perfectionist artist.
