The glitz and glamour of Hollywood will make its way to Atlanta on Thursday, May 5 for the East Coast Premiere of “Monster-in-Law,” featuring Jane Fonda and Jennifer Lopez. The Georgia Campaign for Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention (G-CAPP) in partnership with New Line Cinema will debut the film at the Fabulous Fox Theatre as part of G-CAPP’s annual fundraising event. The evening will begin with red carpet arrivals at 5:30pm, followed by a 6:00pm. showing of “Monster-in-Law” and a post-film gala with live and silent auctions. The evening will cap off with a 10th Birthday after-party to celebrate G-CAPP’s 10 years.

The Georgia Campaign for Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention (G-CAPP) is a private, nonprofit organization whose mission is to eliminate adolescent pregnancy in Georgia. Founded by Jane Fonda in 1995, the program strives to reduce the high rates of adolescent pregnancy in Georgia through community, youth, and family development, sustainable economic development, and legislative advocacy.

Monster in Law is the story of Charlotte ‘Charlie’ Cantilini (Jennifer Lopez) who finally finds the man of her dreams (Michael Vartan) after years of looking for Mr. Right, only to discover that his mother (Jane Fonda) is the woman of her nightmares. A recently fired national news anchor who is afraid she will lose her son the way she has just lost her career, Viola Fields determines to scare off her son’s new fiancé by becoming the world’s worst mother-in-law. While Viola’s long-time assistant Ruby (Wanda Sykes) does her best to help Viola execute her crazy schemes, Charlie decides to fight back and the gloves come off as the women battle it out to see just who is the alpha-female. Scheduled for a May 6, 2005 release, Monster-In-Law is directed by Legally Blonde’s Robert Luketic and marks Fonda’s return to the big screen after a 14-year absence.

One entry per household, additional entries per household will cause all entries from the household to be disqualified. Entry materials that have been tampered with or altered are void. Retail Value: $50 (b) All prizes or prize certificates may be picked up at the office of UPN Atlanta. Any prize or prize certificate not claimed before the screening will be forfeited by the winner. In the event that a prize or prize certificate is mailed to the winner, it will be with the prior written consent of the winner and therefore, winner assumes the risk of its arrival. WUPA is not responsible for the safe arrival of a prize or prize certificate. (d) Contest prizes are not transferable. Prizes may not be substituted for or redeemed for cash. Station reserves the right to substitute prize of comparable value. 4. Selection of Winners: (a) Decisions of contest sponsors with respect to the contest are final.
