After two years apart, Jennifer Lopez has reunited with her former manager, Benny Medina. Insiders said Medina will handle Lopez’s music career while her business partner, Simon Fields, will continue to work on her movie and clothing deals although some say his time is limited. “[Hubby] Marc [Anthony] acts like her manager now,” said a pal. Lopez and Medina split in 2003 during her affair with Ben Affleck, and Lopez even tried to sue Medina for improperly acting as an agent. The suit was later dropped. Lopez’s “Rebirth” album is due out next month. Medina and a Lopez rep didn’t return calls.

I’m glad and I hope this is true. He was one of a few people I think that truly has been there from the start for her and would never steer her wrong.

She may have hired Medina because he may be able to give her the best advice on how to keep her musical career successful, without having to give any “live” performances.
